Generate an API Key

API Key is essential for all interactions with the platform, such as uploading maps or communicating with servers. Follow the steps below to generate your unique API Key.

Steps to Generate Your API Key​

  1. Access the Platform
    Log in to the platform and navigate to your Personal Center.

  2. Switch to Developer Mode
    In the Personal Center, select the Developer option.

  3. Generate the API Key
    Click the button to generate your unique API Key. Once generated, copy the key.

  4. Save Your API Key Securely
    Paste the API Key into a secure location, such as a password-protected note or a secure password manager.

Important Notes​

  • Do not share your API Key with others.
    The API Key is unique to your account and is used for critical operations, such as:

    • Uploading maps to the platform.
    • Interacting with various servers.
    • Authenticating your identity as a developer.

  • Potential Risks of API Key Exposure
    If someone else obtains your API Key, they may misuse it, leading to potential losses for you as a developer.

  • Regenerate if Compromised
    If you suspect that your API Key has been compromised, immediately log in to the platform, revoke the current key, and generate a new one.

By following these steps and precautions, you can safely use your API Key for development purposes.
